Fresh vocal group Blue Dreamers PH take off

For 154 days, the Lucky 8 lived inside the Blue Dreamers House without cellphones and under constant camera surveillance, as the production team closely observed their personalities, teamwork, discipline, and dedication through challenges and kitchen tasks.

They also underwent intensive training in singing, dancing, modeling, and acting. Now reduced to five members (four boys and one girl), the group officially emerges as the new-generation vocal group, Blue Dreamers.

Blue Dreamers PH was launched in 2025 by a group of young Filipinos who turned their stories of sacrifice into inspiration to pursue their dreams. To form the Magic 5 Blue Dreamers, auditions were held across the Philippines in search of lucky dreamers. From hundreds of hopefuls, 20 were selected, then narrowed down to 15, then 10—until the final Lucky 8 Blue Dreamers emerged.

The Gen-Z vocal group consists of Shayne Monreal from Albay, Zhian Mendaza from Mindoro, twins Jairex and Xanxan Tan from Zamboanga del Sur, and Jarred Salvador from Makati City.

Their grand album launch, “Lowkey Tayo,” was held on May 7, 2026, in Quezon City. The album features the songs “Lowkey Tayo,” “Dance Tayo,” and “912 Hours Journey.”

The album is titled “Lowkey” to reflect a mindset of staying humble and private despite success and challenges. As project director MJ Gutierrez explained, “Iwas sa bashing, iwas sa gulo, hindi kailangan i-post lahat sa social media, hayaan mo sila matuklasan ‘yung mga blessings na meron ka.” The title highlights the idea of quietly appreciating achievements and letting the work speak for itself instead of seeking constant attention online.

“’Wag mag-overshare sa social media. Maging lowkey lang po para peaceful ‘yung life niyo,” added Jarred.

Named Blue Dreamers, the group shared that they struggled and experienced hardships in the past, but they turned their pain into power.

The twins, Jairex and Xanxan, both love performing and share similar hobbies, including playing basketball. Rather than competing with each other, they support and help one another.

The Blue Dreamers also shared their dream of collaborating with SB19 and BINI someday.
