The Gateway Motors Group achieved a milestone recently when their two major Honda dealerships placed first and second in the 2024 Dealer of the Year Award during the 2024 Honda Dealers Conference, where Honda Cars Philippines gives recognition to its dealers who excel in sales and after-sales operations each year, last Feb. 21 at the Okada Hotel in Pasay City.
Its Honda Cars Marcos Highway was adjudged as the 2024 Dealer of the Year awardee after romping off with 11 other awards in several categories such as: Sales Achiever – Metro Manila; Volume Seller – Metro Manila; Best in Units in Operation Sales; Top Seller per model – Honda City Hatchback; Top Seller per model – Honda BRV; Service Intake Achiever – Metro Manila; Parts Retail Sales Achiever – Metro Manila; Most Improved Dealer – Parts Retail Sales; Parts Wholesale Achiever; Best in After-sales Operations; and Parts Manager of The Year.
Opened only in 2021 along Marikina-Infanta Highway, Bgy. Dela Paz, Pasig City, Honda Cars Marcos Highway is a consistent performer among the Honda dealerships having been named first runnerup in same Dealer of the Year category in 2022 and second runnerup in 2021.
On the other hand, the Honda Cars Fairview, opened by Gateway early last year at the Neopolitan Business Center in Fairview, Quezon City, came in a strong second in 2024 Dealer of the Year Award after carting off with several others awards such as: Best in Telemarketing Activity; Best in Online Management; 2nd Best in Aftersales Operations; 2nd Most Improved Dealer – Parts Retail Sales (Highest % of increase vs 2022); 3rd Most improved Dealer – Service Intake (Highest % of increase vs 2022); 3rd Parts Retail Sales Achiever. This Gateway dealership is the biggest Honda showroom in the country and the first Honda-Gateway dealership with a gaming lounge and it was already adjudged as Dealer of the Year in 2021 and 2nd runnerup in 2022.
“We are very thankful for these awards and these show that Gateway showrooms and dealerships are really performing to expectations not only of our principal manufacturers but also of our clients. Our appreciation also goes to our staff and members who worked hard to achieve these prestigious awards,” said Michael Goho, Gateway’s vice chairman, who also said that their two other Honda dealerships– Honda Cars Isabela and Honda Cars Cainta – are open to all Honda car lovers and enthusiasts.
In the spirit of recognizing everyone’s hard work, HCPI President, Ms. Rie Miyake, left the attendees of the 2024 Dealer Conference with an inspiring insight about Honda’s tagline, the Power of Dreams. “The future mobility Honda dreams of will create a joy and freedom of mobility that enables people to transcend the constraints of time and place and augment their every possibility.
