Mitsubishi Montero Sport enthusiasts may rejoice now that the newly minted 2025 series are now available in all Gateway Mitsubishi dealerships all over the country.
Yes, the Gateway Motors Group, the biggest multi-brand car dealership company, has made it sure that the 2025 models of the very popular Mitsubishi Montero Sport are available in all their 11 showrooms from Luzon to Mindanao – 5 of them are in Metro Manila (Sucat, Paranaque, Quezon Avenue, Fairview, Pasig, and Greenhills) while 2 are in Cebu (Talisay and Gorodo), 2 in Davao (Matina and Buhangin), and 1 in Bukidnon.

The 2025 variants include the entry level GLX 2WD MT (that sells for P1,568,000), the Montero SPports GLS 2.4D 2WD AT (P1,899,000), the Montero Spports Black Series 2.4D AT (P2,162,000), and the Montero Sport Black Series 2.4 4WD AT (which replaced the former GT 4WD AT 2024 model that sells for P2,428,000).
The 2025 models have few revisions especially for the higher trim levels which got a boost in safety features just like what we are seeing now in the new Mitsubishi Triton pickups.
The premium levels Black Series 2WD and Black Series 4WD now has an advanced driver assist systems that includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a surround view monitor, among others. All of the new variants are still powered by the same 2.4-liter 4N15 MIVEC diesel engine that cranks out 179hp and 430Nm of torque.
Aside from the new designs introduced in the 2025 model, the 2 Black Series variants has an added black aesthetics added in the alloy wheels, door mirrors, door handles, rear license plate garnish, roof rail and tail spoiler. The former 4-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is now replaced by a 3-spoke leather-wrapped one, the top-of-the-line Black Series 4WD AT still having the paddle shifter and new design of instrumentation panel.
