After acclaimed Lea Salonga was feted with a star at the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame held in front of Pantages Theater in Hollywood Boulevard, she was honored with the Icon Award for her enormous contributions to world entertainment at the awards night of the 3rd Manila International Film Festival at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.
Aside from Lea, among the guests present were Fil-Am achievers in the US and Hollywood like actor Lou Diamond Phillips, 2022 Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel, Grammy and Oscar winner H.E.R.
