ION+ Power Run 2025 to push runners beyond limit

There’s more to running than just endurance and speed.

When the community unites for a common purpose, running can also move hearts and touch lives. And this is exactly what’s at the core of ION+ Power Run 2025: Push Beyond Your Limit.

Set to take place on October 5 at Central Park, Filinvest City, Alabang, the event will have four race categories: 3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K half-marathon.

This is for the benefit of Tuloy Foundation.

A staple in previous MNL City Run events, ION+ Advanced Electrolyte Drink has long been the trusted electrolyte partner of runners. As the Official Electrolyte Drink of the MNL City Run, ION+ has helped power countless strides across the metro.

Now, taking their partnership to the next level, these two leading names in the running scene join forces to bring  ION+ Power Run 2025, an event that challenges  runners  to break barriers and achieve their personal best.

“We’re excited to team up with ION+ for this event. The upcoming ION+ Power Run is really about uniting the running community not just to challenge themselves physically but also to empower them to touch lives. Like our previous runs, this event will see part of the proceeds go to a charitable organization,” said Ruel Cruz, CEO of MNL City Run, shares.

Never one to slow down after a string of highly successful events in recent years, MNL City Run — one of the country’s premier charity run organizers — is back with a new running event for a cause.

For ION+ Power Run, the beneficiary will be the Tuloy Foundation, an organization that provides residential and non-residential care, education, and vocational training to poor, abandoned, homeless, and “at-risk” children and youth.

Since its establishment in 1996, Tuloy Foundation has been transforming lives through character-building, sports, and development programs for marginalized youth.

“For us at MNL City Run, running is more than just about fitness and wellness. It’s a tool we can use to help people. Since our first run back in 2019, it has always been our commitment to extend financial aid to various organizations. We’ve since helped NGOs in the education and health sectors, and we’re honored, this time, to offer something to the children of Tuloy Foundation,” added Ritchie Cruz, Marketing Head of MNL City Run, notes.
