Jericho is slated to appear in an important stage musical billed “Contra Mundum, Ang Larawan The Concert” collaborated by three National Artists, namely posthumous participation by Nick Joaquin, for Literature, whose literary play, “Portrait of the Artist as Filipino” was the musical’s source; Ryan Cayabyab, for Music, conductor for live accompaniment of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) and Alice Reyes, for Dance, choreographer.
Rosales plays gentleman’s caller Tony Javier, alternately with Paulo Avelino and Ricky Davao.
Echo quickly accepted the offer which he found very challenging as he wanted to showcase his singing talent live onstage
His co-stars in the musical play include fellow ABS-CBN stars, before and after, like Bea Alonzo who portrays a very special role, Paulo, Karylle Tatlonghari and Rachel Alejandro who essay alternately6 the role of Paula Marasigan, one of the two spinster sisters, the other one being Candida assigned alternately to Bito Aguilos, Agot Isidro and Celeste Legaspi.
