Jetour Auto Philippines formally unveiled its all-new X70 Lightning i-DM PHEV, a 7-seater plug-in hybrid that is considered as the most affordable in the market today, in a grand style as it brings a sizeable number of media and blogging personalities to an overnight trip to the scenic Acea Subic beach resort.
No less than Jetour managing director Lito Jose who introduced the head-turner medium-size SUV that is complete with amenities and very comfortable ride. “This is the latest full hybrid Jetour vehicle that we showcase in the coming major auto show and we would like our friends from the media to experience it first-hand. This is complete with all the essential things you need when you buy a car these days. And it is very affordable at only P1.648-million,” said Lito Jose.
The X70 Lightning i-DM has the so-called intelligent dual motor that has a 1.5L turbocharged engine and a 19.27 kWh lithium battery that can churn out a very powerful 395 Nm of torque. It has an amazing range of up to 1,200 kms on a full tank of gas and a fully-charged battery. It also has a vehicle-to-load system that supports up to 6.6 kW of power if you are on a campsite.
The X70 Lightning i-DM is 4785mm long, 1900mm wide, 1720mm tall, and has a 2745mm wheelbase with very comfortable all-leather interior trimmings coupled with other amenities such as touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-speaker Sony sound system, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, 5 USB charging ports, bluetooth and QDLink connectivity. It is covered by a 1-million, 6-year bumper-to-bumper warranty as well as a 10-year engine warranty.
The whole Jetour Auto Philippines, led by marketing director May de los Santos and her assistant Cameron Arciaga, were on hand to welcome the participants of the long drive that took off at the newest Jetour flagship showroom in Quezon Avenue.
