Social media are abuzz with photos and videos purportedly showing Kathryn Bernardo at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) recently wearing a heavy face mask while pulling her suitcase in. Not far away from her, reportedly on the same day at the same time, was Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala wearing face mask as well.
According to witnesses at the airport, the actress and the mayor were bound for Australia but on different destinations—Kathryn allegedly for Melbourne while Mayor Alcala, for Sydney.
Bernardo and Alcala have been subjects of hot news since the start of the year when witnesses said the politician was already courting the actress. In March, reports by movie scribes Jojo Gabinete and Ogie Diaz surfaced in digital and printed media about their impending romance but no denial or affirmation has been issued by both parties.
Once they’re in Australia, though, would they see each other in one place?
