Kris Aquino celebrates hers and Noynoy Aquino’s b-day

It’s not only her birthday that Kris Aquino celebrated, she also gave tribute to his late brother Benigno C. Aquino III, also known as Noynoy Aquino, who also happened to be born in February.

While Kris’ birthday fell on February 14, the same date as Valentine’s Day, Noynoy’s birth anniversary was one week earlier.

In a very filial homage to the former president of the Philippines, Kris, together with her sons Joshua and Bimby had a sort of online conversation in keeping sweet memories of her dearly departed bro and the kids’ uncle.

Here’s Kris’ messages for the elder Aquino.

“Sorry, Noy mahirap mag (it’s hard to) edit. Kasi grabe ka naman magparamdam (You know what, you’re something in making your presence felt)… tried my best umabot ng kahit (to reach) 11:45 PM BUT di talaga kaya (wasn’t possible).

“i love you so much. i’m so sorry na hindi ko nasabi (I wasn’t able to tell) enough times when you were still here. i’m sorry for letting you down- but i know nakita mo (you knew/saw) how much your death has profoundly changed me.

“i know you wanted to teach me how to practice humility and not to post anything that later on i may regret… sorry sumablay lang kay (I fumbled in the case of) mel, kasi pumatol ako (because I gave in) and nag comment when i should’ve just shut up. After i post this i’ll message him na (already) all is forgiven & forgotten.

“Time to stop looking back, free myself from the past, focus on today and still have enough FAITH to look forward to tomorrow.

“i’m sure super happy ka because solong solo mo ang (you’ve got yourself) mom and dad in heaven. Please habaan nyo pa yung (prolong your) bonding nyo? If Ate goes, you know how tight she and mom were. If it’s Pinky, every day may ka debate ka na hindi takot awayin ka (you’d have arguments for someone who’s not afraid to fight with you). Please not Viel, she’s super organized & that’s why all your pamangkins (nieces and nephews) get their birthday & Christmas ‘hulog ng langit (manna from heaven).

“And if it’s me-you know naman…birthday mo so i’ll behave, di ko na sasabihin (I won’t mention anymore) but i know you know what i mean.

“WE ALL LOVE YOU and we really miss you- but kuya (a term of endearment for an older man by blood or by affinity) josh & bimb, they still really need me. Ikaw nang bahala (It’s your call), okay.

“Bunso (The youngest) will try her best to be more like you, and yung inako kong mga binilin mong wag pababayaan- ginagawa talaga (the ones I volunteered to take care I am really fulfilling them).

“Remember your last SONA? May mga “leaders” kang ininvite (you invited), you called me to join you w/ them sa (in the) picture taking. You said nung 1998 sila yung unang sumuporta and kung wala sila, hindi mo maaabot yung inabot mo (In 1998 they were ones who showed support to you at without them you wouldn’t get to where you’ve reached). Hinanap sila ni Alvin & kuya Nory (looked for them)… i made sure they felt our gratitude & #lovelovelove before mom’s birthday. Mahaba na ‘to (This is already lengthy). Kris turned fifty one yesterday while Noynoy should have been sixty two last February 8.
