State-owned Land Bank of the Philippines has temporarily closed several branches in South Cotabato and Sarangani following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake as part of precautionary safety measures.
In an advisory issued last week, LandBank said the affected branches in South Cotabato include Calumping, General Santos Highway, General Santos-Pioneer, and Koronadal Highway.
Also closed are the Alabel and Glan branches in Sarangani, which are currently undergoing safety inspections to ensure the welfare of both clients and personnel.
The bank said the temporary closures will remain in place until structural and safety assessments are completed.
LandBank assured the public that all other branches nationwide continue to operate normally.
While inspections are ongoing, clients are encouraged to use the bank’s digital services, including the LandBank Mobile Banking App and iAccess, for their transactions.
Customers may also proceed to nearby open branches for inter-branch banking services.
The bank advised the public to stay updated through its official channels regarding the reopening of affected branches.
