Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially launched the New Civic RS e: HEV variant at the recent 9th Philippine International Motor Show together with the limited editions of the CR-V V Turbo and the Civic Type R, along with two motorcycles — the All-New EM1 e: and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.
At the same time, HCPI also launched its new Honda Leasing Program which will make it easier for customers to take home their next dream Honda car with lower upfront costs and flexible payment terms. Those who will avail of this new offer can also enjoy comprehensive after-sales maintenance services from HCPI.

The RS e:HEV variant ushers in a new chapter for HCPI as they officially mark the beginning of bringing in more e:HEV models to the Philippines. Thanks to Honda’s e:HEV full hybrid system. Honda Sensing has been updated with a wider camera, while Honda Connect gets a refresh too with additional features. It also comes with new features such as parking sensors, Type C USB ports, and a new 9” Audio Display unit across all variants (whereas the previous model only had this available on RS variants). This is also the first model from HCPI that is equipped with Google Built-in. Users can now interact and control their car with voice commands for navigation, car operations, and install a wide variety of third-party apps. It now retails as follows: RS e:HEV E-CVT – P1.99-M; RS CVT – P1.79-M: New Civic V CVT – P1.6-M.
“We at Honda have two (2) global goals to reach by 2050: First, carbon-neutrality for all products and corporate activities, and second, zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda vehicles. With all the programs and activities, we have conducted over the years, achieving these are of high priority to us. Supported by technologies such as Honda SENSING and Honda CONNECT, these features will make their way to more of our products for safer roads, as well as more e:HEV and BEV for greener and more sustainable mobility. The Philippine automotive market will continue to thrive as brands introduce more innovative models and advanced technologies. Honda’s success will come from our unwavering commitment to prioritizing our customers. We are here to learn about what you need and to expand our product range to provide mobility solutions that are practical and relevant to you,” HCPI president Rie Miyake said.
Meanwhile, the All-New EM1 e: is HPI’s very first battery electric vehicle while the All-New CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is light and powerful super sports bike embodies the true spirit of its MotoGP racing DNA.
HCPI has combined practicality and style with the limited-edition CR-V V variant whose accessories include an exhaust pipe finisher, a front aero bumper, and a rear under spoiler, while utility accessories include a body cover, seat back protector, a cargo tray, and a door visor.
On the other hand, the most exclusive Civic Type R only has five units available locally. The Honda Mugen team also graciously gave their time and effort to be present at the exhibit for the reveal.
The new Honda leasing scheme, in partnership with RCBC Leasing and Finance Corporation, RCBC Rental Corporation, BDO Finance Corporation, and BPI Tokyo Century Rental Corporation is HCPI’s latest initiative to make the joy and freedom of mobility more accessible to all its customers. HCPI Senior Vice President Atty. Louie Soriano says: “Mobility is integral to our daily lives, yet the conventional model often entails substantial upfront costs and long-term commitments, which can be challenging for some customers. With this in mind, we initiated a business concept for a leasing scheme that was further developed by each partner, resulting in the Honda Leasing Program—a more flexible and affordable financing alternative”.
