Philippine Airlines (PAL) has unveiled its own digital wallet, giving travelers a more convenient way to manage and use various electronic cards through a single account.
The new PAL e-Wallet, launched recently, allows passengers to consolidate travel-related e-cards such as Mabuhay Miles, travel credits, compensation vouchers, and e-gift cards.
“This is part of our ongoing effort to enhance the passenger experience through digital innovation,” said Justin Warby, PAL Vice President for Sales and Distribution. He highlighted the wallet’s convenience, especially for those who prefer paperless, real-time transactions.
The PAL e-Wallet can be used to pay for tickets and other airline services—except for travel insurance and flight upgrades. Among its key features are automatic currency conversion, smart expiration management that prioritizes soon-to-expire credits, and a name-check system to ensure accurate credit application.
