Philippine National Bank (PNB) has once again earned international recognition after being named Best Bank for Investment Research in the Philippines at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards 2025. This marks the bank’s fifth consecutive win in the category since 2021.
“This award further underscores our dedication to provide dependable insights to our stakeholders,” said Executive Vice President Francis Albalate, PNB’s Head of Financial Management, Strategy and Sustainability.
Alvin Arogo, First Vice President and Head of PNB’s Economist and Research Division, credited the team’s focus on producing sharp, relevant, and timely insights for clients, investors, and the general public. “This recognition drives us to continue raising the bar in research that supports PNB’s evolving relationship with its clients,” he said.
According to Euromoney, PNB stood out for its comprehensive research and economic analysis, which has helped guide clients in making informed investment decisions.
The award comes on the heels of strong first-quarter results for the bank. PNB reported a consolidated net income of P6.1 billion for the first three months of 2025, up 15 percent from the same period last year. Its core income rose to P14.1 billion, while net interest margin climbed 9 percent to P12.7 billion.
The Euromoney Private Banking Awards, which now includes Asiamoney’s private banking categories, is one of the most respected global platforms recognizing excellence in wealth and investment advisory.
