Typhoon Egay was pummeling its winds and rains but despite the threatening bad weather, actress Alice Dixson’s birthday party went on very well.
Alice turned fifty three last July 28, 2023 in the middle of a stormy day and her guests didn’t mind crossing flooded streets and being slapped by gusty winds just to get to the special bash the celebrator had prepared for them.
Present during Dixson’s turning a new year in her life were fellow actresses Amy Austria, Isabel Rivas, Ali Sotto and Dina Bonnevie while the celebrator’s non-showbiz buddies Rechie del Carmen, Telly Acuba, Ayessa Almario and Amy’s hubby Duke Ventura.
In her Facebook post, Isabel penned a heartwarming birthday greetings to Alice: “Birthday celebration of our dear friend Alice. Happy happy birthday Dikya we are so happy for you my dear friend. We love you so much na wala kaming keber ke bumabagyo (we don’t care if it’s stormy!) God bless you more and give the desires of your heart,” said Isabel.
Alice’s intimate birthday shindig, according to Rivas, was an occasion to finally see the celebrator’s daughter. “It was a reunion and to meet her beautiful daughter Aura that we’ve waited for soooo long! It’s an answered prayer from our Lord Jesus!” added Isabel.
Meanwhile, action superstar Rhene Imperial also greeted Alice virtually while he was shooting a trailer for the movie “Siga ng Tondo…Daw” at Executive Hills in Taytay, Rizal.
“Happy Birthday, Miss A,” exclaimed Rhene who is set to do a movie with Alice in the near future.
