The Philippine motorcycle industry continued posted 183,502 units sold nationwide in October 2025 according to the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, Inc., reflecting a 19 percent increase from the 154,168 units sold in October 2024. The October sales bring the industry’s year-to-date total to 1,581,817 units, up 13.5 percent from the 1,393,426 units recorded over the same 10-month period last year.
This steady growth highlights how motorcycles remain a practical and essential mode of transport for many Filipinos, particularly as they continue to seek affordable, fuel-efficient, and traffic-resilient mobility solutions.
With this sustained momentum, MDPPA remains optimistic that the industry will close the year with over 1.79 million units sold, buoyed by continued demand and strong performance across regions.
“With just two months to go, we are on pace to surpass our earlier targets, and we expect full-year sales to reach more than 1.79 million units. This growth reflects how deeply motorcycles have become a part of everyday life for Filipinos. Whether for personal use or livelihood, they continue to be the most accessible and reliable way to move forward,” said Engr. Alexander A. Cumpas, the MDPPA president, said.
The Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, Inc. (MDPPA) is the country’s most relevant association proactive to the needs of stakeholders in the country’s motorcycle industry.
