Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc., the official distributor of Volvo Cars Philippines, proudly supported the 3rd Battig Golf Cup “Swing for Music,” strengthening its commitment to community upliftment and music education through the Sister Baptista Battig Music Foundation Inc. last Nov. 19, at the Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club.
The annual fundraising event provides music scholarships for deserving students from local communities and barangays. Through the foundation’s programs, young scholars are given opportunities to hone their talents, pursue formal musical training, and use music as a pathway for both personal and academic growth.
In harmony with the event’s mission, HARI showcased the Volvo XC60, a vehicle deeply rooted in Scandinavian craftsmanship and culture, including Sweden’s rich musical heritage known for its creativity, precision, and innovation. Much like the foundation’s pursuit of musical excellence, the XC60 reflects these same values through its clean design, intuitive technology, and purposeful engineering. Equipped with a premium Harman Kardon audio and infotainment system, the XC60 elevates every drive into a rich, immersive sound experience, a perfect complement to an event dedicated to supporting young musicians and celebrating the power of music.
With its advanced plug-in hybrid technology, intelligent safety features, intuitive driver-assistance systems, and a spacious interior inspired by Scandinavian minimalism, the Volvo XC60 offered attendees a firsthand experience of true comfort, refinement, and performance. Its elegant and purposeful design reflects the foundation’s vision of nurturing young musicians and uplifting communities through the universal language of music.
“As a fellow scholar of St. Scholastica’s College Manila, supporting the Battig Golf Cup organized by the Sister Baptista Battig Music Foundation Inc. is more than sponsorship, it is a shared commitment to cultivating talent and empowering the next generation. Showcasing the Volvo XC60 reflects HARI’s pursuit of innovation, safety, and sustainable mobility qualities that resonate with the creativity and discipline found in music,” said Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, the HARI vice chair, president, and CEO, as well as an alumna and long-time supporter of the Battig Foundation.
Now in its third year, the Battig Golf Cup continues to raise funds for over 32 music scholars, supporting their educational needs for the academic year. Through this partnership, HARI reinforces its dedication not only to delivering world-class vehicles like the Volvo XC60 but also to nurturing musical talent, supporting meaningful education, and contributing to the cultural enrichment of communities.
