SM Supermalls, through its technology and lifestyle center Cyberzone, held this month its annual Cyber Month Tech Sale, a month-long indulgence for the tech-savvy, game geeks and gadget lovers.
Celebrated in all SM Supermalls nationwide, Cyber Month Tech Sale showcases the best of the best in consumer electronics and features loads of attraction for techies, from discounted gadgets, insightful tech talks, friendly game fest, heaps of promotions and freebies to the latest, state-of-the-art technology designed for optimal consumer experience.
Cyber Month kicked off with the launch of LG Electronics’s Smart Home on August 5 at SM City Fairview.
In partnership with LG and SM Appliance Center, the Smart Home activation will highlight how technology can transform the way we live and the homes we live in through the power of smart gadgets.
Parts of the activation are product demonstrations and actual consumer experience where shoppers can witness how a smartphone can control and connect diverse devices and home appliances.
Being the home of passionate Pinoy gamers, SM Cyberzone also teamed up with Smart Communications Inc. for the biggest Clash of Clans (CoC) tournament, dubbed the Philippine Clash 2015, with over P2 million worth of prizes—the largest prize pool in a local mobile gaming competition to date.
The contest started on August 2 at SM Light Residences Mall and will run for almost two months until the grand CoC battle on September 26 at SM Mall of Asia.
Aside from the competition, the CoC legs will feature exciting activities for fans, such as tutorials, games and meet-and-greet with the CoC community.
Aside from the LG Smart Home launch and the Philippine Clash 2015, SM Supermalls will also mount the first-ever Cyberzone Cosplay Craze, a grand celebration of cosplay through innovative and interactive activities that aim to entertain young and the young-at-heart on August 22 and 23 at SM North Edsa.
The event coincides with the Cosplay Mania ‘15 Road Show and International Cosplay Day.
Ultimately, Cyber Month will be filled with gadget expositions and exclusive promos.
Beginning August 28, Smart will hold its Smart Bro Gadget Expo at SM North Edsa, where all Smart subscribers can avail themselves of discounted devices, join gadget auctions, raffles and listen to tech talks and product demonstrations.
