Christmas came rushing in November at Cavite’s new landmark hotel, The Lake Hotel in Tagaytay City.
Sparkling lights, joyous atmosphere, vibrant music, festive melodies, and a generally classic Christmas spirit with drinks and lavish food galore marked the Christmas tree lighting ceremony amid the cool air of November 23.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of The Lake Hotel, which opened in December 2009.
On hand to welcome guests, from in and out of town, were Executive Director Darvin Chia, Chief Finance Officer Mark Yapitun, and Corporate Planning and Compliance Officer Alyssa Mae Marcellano.
The Lake Hotel Tagaytay, located in the heart of the city along General Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, offers the perfect location to experience everything this charming mountain city has to offer.
Perched along Tagaytay Ridge, The Lake Hotel Tagaytay offers sweeping views of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. Here is where one savors the phrase, ‘room with a view’ as the hotel overlooks a forested hillside and Lake Taal, a caldera formed by the Taal Volcano.
Streamlined rooms offer free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, plus minibars and glass-enclosed bathrooms. Upgraded rooms come with balconies; some include lake views and whirlpool tubs. Suites have living areas, and upgraded 1- to 2-bedroom suites feature separate living rooms.
Executive Director Darvin Chia proudly announces that parking and breakfast are free for hotel guests.
The Lake has a casual restaurant and an outdoor infinity pool with sea views. Other amenities include an indoor pool and a gym, plus a game room and a kids’ play room.
Chia suggests that guests can start their day with a hearty breakfast at Al Dente by the Lake.
With breakfast options that cater to every palate, from Filipino classics to continental favorites, you are sure to enjoy a leisurely morning as you savor each bite while gazing over Tagaytay’s breathtaking scenery.
Dining at Al Dente by The Lake is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. The restaurant serves a mix of traditional Filipino and international cuisine.
Chia says, “A dinner here is a must, especially when matched by the stunning night views over the lake.”
The Lake Hotel Tagaytay’s rooms range from cozy singles to spacious two-bedroom suites, each thoughtfully designed to blend elegance and comfort. After a day of exploring Tagaytay, returning to this haven feels like an experience in itself.
Mr. Chia also recommends that before you retire, try to capture the beautiful Tagaytay sunset.
Tagaytay sunsets are renowned for their beauty, and The Lake Hotel Tagaytay offers some of the best vantage points to catch them.
Whether from your room, the dining terrace, or the garden, take a moment to watch the sky change colors as the sun dips below the horizon—a magical way to end the day.
