What set him apart, though, from playboys and Lotharios was his loyalty to the love of his life in a particular time.
Freddie was a one-woman man.
Let’s start with his wife, Josephine Queipo whom he tied the knot with in 1978.
Josephine and Ka (a term of respect to an older man) Freddie lived together for years until they separated.
Jo, Queipo’s pet name and Ka Freddie had four children, namely Maegan, Jonan, Isabella and Jeriko.
In 2000, Freddie married Antoinette Martinez in Las Vegas but they divorced after five years.
Meanwhile, in 2013 Freddie married Jovie Albao in an Islamic ceremony.
Aguilar and Jovie had a 44-year age gap.
At the time of his death, it was Albao who took care of her husband.
Freddie died of multiple organ failure at the Philippine Heart Center last May 27, 2025 and was buried within twenty-four hours at the Manila Islamic Cemetery. (Boy Villasanta)
