Envic Tinio was the low gross scorer while Charlie Kim took the low net in the fourth edition of the Models & Events of the Facets Team Open Golf Tournament last Thursday at the Beverly Place Golf Club in Mexico, Pampanga.
Tinio grossed 76 in the par-71 course dotted with lots water hazards at the back-nine while Kim had a net of 69 after grossing 82 with a handicap of 13 to go home with a beautiful glass trophy each.
Tinio sizzled with one-under par 35 in the first nine holes but steadied with a 41 in the back nine as all the participants had to endure a hot and humid weather in the early afternoon. On the other hand, Kim submitted a same 41 in the front and back nine for a total of 82 with a handicap of 13.

True to our theme of ‘connecting further with purpose,’ the participants have enjoyed the company of each other and y had the pleasure of playing this beautiful course of Beverly Place. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” said Nicky Lacson, the head organizer whose various personalities grace the different motoring events in the country.
Harry Syles beat Armando Balilo on a countback in ruling the Class A division after they both submitted the same net of 70. Both of them had a birdie each on a countback but Syles prevailed with 10 pars as against the 9 of Balilo, who took the runnerup trophy. The third placer was Jesico Quinto with a net of 71.
Angela Susi ruled the Class B division after getting a net of 71. Harry Abiera was adjudged the first runnerup after having a net of 72. He and Nathaniel Ramos submitted the same gross of 97, but Abiera prevailed with a handicap of 25 as against the 24 of Ramos.
Justice Ruben Lacson became the Class C division champion after a countback, tying with Rod Francisco and Jayson Mendoza with the same net of 77. Lacson was adjudged the champion with 2 pars as against the runnerup Francisco with 1 and third placer Mendoza who had none.
Fun winners included: Envic Tinio who bagged the nearest to the pin; Ronald Rama as having the accurate drive; and Harry Abiera with the longest drive.
