The COVID-19 pandemic has indeed wreaked havoc in all stations of life including Philippine entertainment.
At least, the local music industry has bounced back to its usual activities although there are still precautionary measures on health standards and live shows are already up and about.
One of the major concerts to be staged is the return of the pop band Freestyle with its popular vocalist Top Suzara.
On October 20, 2022 at 19 East (the iconic music hall along the eastern service road of the South Luzon Expressway—SLEX—in in between Parañaque City and Muntinlupa City), the famous group will kick off its series of shows in the Philippines and abroad.
Before the most anticipated gig, though, Top held a media launch to signify the discovery of their reinvigorated musical concepts.
In an invite as a form of official statement as well, it announces that Top is again sharing a new vision of his sound and rhythm with the audience. “More than the music, Suzara is excited to present an evolution of the Freestyle brand that touches on a wider range of entertainment products through upcoming collaborations with other Filipino artists, advertising services leveraging Freestyle’s music and artistry, exciting merchandise for fans old and new, forays into digital media, and other projects in the pipeline set to bring Freestyle to the forefront of entertainment in the modern era,” noted the press briefs.
“Building on its musical legacy with hit songs such as ‘Before I Let You Go,’ ‘So Slow,’ ‘This Time,’ ‘Till I Found You,’ ‘Para Sayo,’ their rendition of ‘Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang?’ and ‘Once In A Lifetime,’ Freestyle will connect with fans anew with original music for release this year,” added the statement.
Freestyle has new members who according to Top are like family.
