It’s been almost a year that the romance between Andrea Torres and Derek Ramsay has ended and they went their own separate ways.
In a few months after the breakup, Derek met Ellen Adarna and the rendezvous led to a whirlwind romance. In no time at all, the couple was officially engaged.
Meanwhile, Andrea has remained single as she focuses her attention to her career doing one film after the other, TV drama after TV drama.
Although her love affair and subsequent split with Ramsay has been a hot item, she makes it work to her favor.
Work has cured Torres’ failed relationship with the actor as she devotes her time to camaraderie with friends and colleagues, one of them her fellow star in GMA Network’s “Legal Wives,” Chanel Latorre.
Ever since Andrea and Chanel have worked in the teleserye on Maranao culture and tradition, they became closer and involved with each other.
“Kumare ko si Andrea as in kumare ko talaga (Andrea is a female godparent as in indeed female godparent),” described Latorre although she didn’t elaborate on how they become female godparents.
“Kumare ang tawagan namin (We call each other kumare),” said Chanel.
“May chat group talaga kami (We have a chat group),” she added.
In the entire period of their bonding, we asked Chanel if Andrea has talked about Derek or the former has asked about her breakup with the actor.
“Alam mo (You know), Tito Boy—referring to this writer), she doesn’t talk about that much,” Latorre quipped.
Of course, the two ladies had pieces of conversation about Ramsay but Chanel didn’t say what transpired in the ticklish romantic issue.
Latorre just delineated that Torres is a level-headed person. “She’s a smart lady. She’s strong. She gets over what she has been through in life,” Chanel hinted without elucidation.
These are precisely the reasons why Andrea doesn’t talk about Derek that much anymore.
Aside from the romance being under the bridge, the GMA Network contract artist has already moved on in her life.
