Is award-winning and controversial Filipino actress Dolly de Leon really teaming up with Hollywood star Nicole Kidman in a screen project?
Was it only yesterday when the good news broke out that internationally renowned de Leon would star with Australian-bred Kidman in a movie that would explore a chemistry between them?

What gives?
According to Dolly, she couldn’t talk about her film with Nicole at the moment yet because of some pressing issues in Hollywood.
“I cannot say anything about it because we are still on strike,” said de Leon in our exclusive interview with her after the talkback session at Cinema Bonifacio for her film “Iti Mapukpukaw,” the declared Best Film in the 2023 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.
Dolly as a member of the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) is on strike over labor issues in Hollywood.
De Leon is supposed to appear in the TV series “Perfect Nine Strangers” with Kidman.
