DJ’s closest pal in teleserye KathNiel’s nemesis

After eleven long years of romance, on and offstage, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are officially separated.

This was confirmed by Kathryn herself.

A brave Bernardo said that the split was caused by their stormy relationship.

In her Instagram posts, though, Kathryn said that her love for DJ, Daniel’s pet name which means Daniel John, was unsurmountable.

Half of her life, she said was devoted to Padilla.

In a separate interview, Kathryn said that she couldn’t take enough a man’s infidelity to her.

This is some sort of an indirect allusion to Daniel who is rumored to be the boyfriend of young actress Andrea Brillantes while they were still on.

The Andrea episode in Daniel’s life has sort of ghosting?

Bernardo said it’s high time that DJ and her call it quits.

“Sana, maunawaan kami ng mga fans (I hope the fans will understand us),” said the actress.

Padilla has yet to issue his official statement about the case but her mom Karla Estrada after initially denying the breakup of Kath and her son, said “Sa paghihiwalay naman ng dalawang tao, hindi lang ang isang ang dapat sisihin (The separation of two people isn’t only caused by one party),” defended Karla.

The elder Estrada in her social media post shared a photo of her with Daniel and Kathryn following the confirmation of the separation of Kathniel.

“We love you both,” wrote Karla.
