The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) has been recognized with the prestigious GEAN Award by the Global Electric Vehicle Association Network for its outstanding contributions to the advancement of the electric vehicle (EV) industry in the Asean region at the 11th EMobility Expo in Jeju, Korea. EVAP chairman Rommel Juan and EVAP chairman emeritus Ferdi Raquelsantos accepted the award from GEAN chairman Daewhan Kim.
EVAP has played a pivotal role in driving the growth of the electric vehicle sector within the ASEAN region and has been instrumental in spearheading the formation of the Asean Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations (AFEVA).
