Jobelle Junko Nunez: From garage to global stage

Actor Ihman Basa Esturco has something to be proud of these days.

Her niece Jobelle Junko Nunez, a Filipino based in New Zealand is taking the whole Down Under by storm when she formed Euphoria Dance Studio (with ninety percent Filipino membership) in NZ, competed and won in various dance competitions like 1^st Place at Hip Hop Unite New Zealand, both 1^st Place winners in the Open Division and Monster Crew Division at the Australian Dance Crew Championships (ADCC) in Christchurch held in Australia.

In October, Jobelle’s group will represent New Zealand and compete at the Hip Hop Unite World Championship in Prague, Czech Republic.

The dance company first established in a garage is now showcasing on the global stage.
