Jay Sonza chides Yaya Dub

AlDub is at the center of attraction anew.

This time, minus Alden Richards, although there’s a photo of the actor singing to Sarah Dizcaya in an event.

The bulk of the controversy, instead, is Yaya Dub who was gently advised if not rebuked by radio and TV broadcaster Jay Sonza against meddling in her husband Arjo Atayde’s mess. “HINDI DAPAT ANG MISIS ANG NAGPAPALIWANAG (THE WIFE SHOULDN’T EXPLAIN). WE UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE TO STAND BY YOUR MAN. Fine Madam, but the issue is between the taxpayers and a member of Congress,” Jay admonished. 

According to Sonza, “it is the husband who deals with the flood control projects in his congressional district. Siya ang nakikipag-usap sa mga taga (He is the one talking to the) DPWH engineering district at mga (and the) Contractors (Wawao Builders, Discaya Group, etc). I don’t think the wife has any direct or indirect participation in the conduct of the official function of the solon. 

“Let your husband do the talking. Hindi naman pipi iyan (He’s not mute, after all). If he is clean, he will come out clean. But he is tainted, then suffer the consequence as he must. Hindi masamang damayan siya sa lahat ng oras ng pagsubok, pero huwag mong akuin iyong pagpapliwanag (It’s not bad to share his agonies at all times but you don’t have to speak on his behalf), let him.

Additionally, Jay assumed the mouthpiece of AlDub fans who wanted to ask Maine some clarifications. “…Menggay, pakitanong mo nga sa asawa mo bakit niya binura iyong post niya tungkol sa famous “ghost project contractor” na Wawao Builders sa kanyang (please ask your husband why he deleted his post about Wawao Builders in his) social media account.”

Sonza added, “By the way, paki tanong mo na rin (please also ask) Maine, bakit unang-unang pumirma si Arjo para ipasara at tanggalan ng prangkisa ang (why he was the first one who closed and disenfranchised) SMNI?”

In a seemingly sarcastic tone, the broadcaster said, “Idagdag tanong mo na rin siguro sa wika mo ay mabait mong esposo bakit siya nakumbinsing pumirma ng Ninong Martin ninyo sa (As an additional query, please ask your good spouse why he was convinced by your Godfather to sign in the) 4th Impeachment complaint laban kay (against) Vice Pres. Sara Duterte?

“Request lamang po ito (These are just requests), Madam,” clarified Sonza.

Sonza emphasized that what he was sharing are pieces of advice from a neighbor and townmate from Km. 42, Perez, Partida, Pulong Buhangin, Sta. Maria, Bulacan. (Boy Villasanta)
