When everyone in show business wasn’t looking in the direction of veteran and award-winning actor Dante Rivero, former sexy actress Janice Jurado led the field to see his current health situation.
It so happened that Janice has connections with various people not excluding health professionals at the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City and she found out Rivero, Luisito Ramos Meyer in real life, is confined in the hospital.
“May nurse friend told me that Sir Dante Rivero is in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital and is about to be transferred to a regular room,” informed Jurado in her social media appearances.
“Ang sabi rin ng mga kaibigan kong nars sa ICU, mailalabas na si Sir Dante pero wala pang bakanteng room (What my nurse-friends also told he could be discharged from the critical unit but there’s no available regular room yet),” she added.
As soon as Janice learned that Dante is confined at EAMC ICU, she immediately went on cam Wednesday night and appealed to Coco Martin for help.
“Sana naman po, makadalaw si Direk Coco o mapapuntahan niya si Sir Dante Rivero sa ospital. Wala daw pong dumadalaw, ‘yong isang apo lang (I hope Director Coco can pay Sir Dante a visit or he could assign someone for him. According to my nurse-friends, there’s no one who pays him a visit except for his grandchild),” said the actress.
Janice thought of making an appeal to Coco because he is the current director of Dante in “Sigabo.”
Martin and Rivero had also starred in the smash hit “Batang Quiapo.”
The following day, Jurado learned that Dante had not yet been discharged from the ICU.
“Sabi ng nars, wala pa ring bakanteng (According to the nurse at the ICU, there isn’t yet available) room,” said Janice.
From the looks of it, Janice’s online appeal to Coco has gone unheeded at that moment perhaps because the actor is very busy with his media work.
“Tatawagan ko rin si Imelda Papin para matulungan siya (I will also call her for help),” added Jurado.
This is the second time Dante is hospitalized.
The first one was when he came all the way from a taping and was shot under the rain.
When the actor arrived home, he wasn’t feeling, called on his son Danny Boy and later passed out.
It was the time he was rumored to be dead but he survived the ordeal.
