Taiwanese manufacturer Suntoward Tech Philippine Inc. is entering the Philippine market through a partnership with AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC), securing industrial facilities in Pampanga and Batangas for its manufacturing operations and planned expansion.
Suntoward has leased more than 3,800 square meters of gross leasable area at ALogis Mabalacat 1 in Pampanga for its initial operations, alongside a long-term lease for an 8,200-square-meter industrial lot at Batangas Technopark.
The company will manufacture, fabricate and assemble high-density polyethylene floats, walkways and mounting components used in floating solar photovoltaic (FPV) systems. Production at its Pampanga facility is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
Its products will serve renewable energy developers, engineering, procurement and construction contractors, and industrial clients in the Philippines and overseas.
Suntoward President Jack Wang said the partnership would bring the company’s manufacturing capabilities closer to renewable energy projects in the region while supporting its customers and local industrial growth.
The two facilities offer access to major transport infrastructure. ALogis Mabalacat 1, located within Pampanga Technopark, is accessible through the North Luzon Expressway and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, with Clark International Airport nearby.
Batangas Technopark in Padre Garcia, meanwhile, is accessible through the South Luzon Expressway and Southern Tagalog Arterial Road Tollway.
ALLHC Chief Operating Officer Patrick C. Avila said the company’s industrial properties are designed to accommodate businesses establishing or expanding their operations in strategic regional locations.
He added that ALLHC looks forward to supporting Suntoward’s Philippine expansion and its contribution to the supply chain for floating solar projects.
The planned manufacturing operations are expected to generate employment opportunities and stimulate local economic activity as Suntoward establishes its presence in the country.
