The fifth edition of the Levy P. Laus Memorial Golf Cup fires off this Friday (March 6) at the sprawling Pradera Golf & Country Club in Lubao, Pampanga.
The annual golf tournament, dedicated to the late Liberato “Levy” P. Laus, one of the most accomplished and most awarded Filipino businessmen of his generation and undoubtedly the most familiar champion of countryside development, will be played at the Pinatubo and Arayat Courses. The tournament format is a 2-man Scramble.
Registration and breakfast start at 5:30 am while the shotgun start will be at 8 am. There will be an unveiling of various surprised hole-in-one prizes before the ceremonial tee-off.
Heading the personalities at the ceremonial tee-off is Lisset Laus-Velasco, the chair and chief executive officer of the Laus Group of Companies, a Pampanga-based conglomerate, spanning the industries of automotives, non-life insurance, media, food, and hospitality.
The whole Laus Family will be on hand to welcome the guests in this keenly-awaited annual golfing extravaganza, according to Froilan G. Dytianquin, the Auto Group Managing Director of the Laus Group of Companies. He added that proceeds of the tournament will go to the Levy P. Laus Foundation. Inc.
