Ayala Corp. sees brighter future ahead after record year

Despite global economic uncertainties, Ayala Corporation remains confident about its growth trajectory, following its strongest financial performance to date.

During a media briefing held in Makati City on Friday, Ayala Corp. President and CEO Cezar Consing said the company is poised to build on its 2024 momentum, when it recorded an all-time high core net income of P45 billion.

Asked about the outlook for the coming year, Consing said the company anticipates even better results.

“We had our strongest year ever with not all our engines firing on all cylinders,” he said, expressing confidence that the company’s businesses will continue to gain ground.

A key part of Ayala’s strategy moving forward is to accelerate the path to profitability for its emerging business segments — AC Mobility, AC Logistics, and AC Health — within the next two years.

“2025 could be an inflection year for our smaller businesses. Each of them undertook major rationalization initiatives last year, and we should begin to see the payoffs of such moves this year,” he added.

Meanwhile, AC Health, Ayala’s healthcare arm, reaffirmed its long-term vision to become a major player in the industry. In a separate statement, the company announced its goal to evolve into a USD2-billion healthcare enterprise by 2035.

“What we’re building is a healthcare group designed for the long haul,” AC Health president and CEO Paolo Borromeo said.

To support this vision, AC Health plans to expand its footprint significantly in the next three years, targeting a network of 1,150 retail pharmacies, 300 clinics, and 10 hospitals.

Ayala’s outlook reflects its commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and the strategic development of future-ready businesses.
