Balladeer Rafael Centenera’s music sells like hotcakes in Malaysia

Since balladeer Rafael Centenera recorded his first single in vinyl, “Missing You” for Dyna Records, he and his record became hit.

“Missing You” was composed by the prolific composer Vehnee Saturno and also made him popular.

Until Rafael started marketing and recording his songs in Malaysia where he also became famous

As a matter of fact, he is more in-demand in Malaysia not necessarily because he is married to a Malaysian woman but because his music breaks cultural and regionsl barriers

“Malaysians are very fond of my songs,” he said humbly.

Especially when Centenera has begun to release Spanish songs live or in the airwaves that his name, in the Philippines, Malaysia and elsewhere, becomes more a byword and engrossing.

He came back recently from Kuala Lumpur where he performed in hotels where he was well-applauded.

In Manila, Rafael sings in bars, hotels, provincial shows.

He is also a favorite guest in TV shows like “Bravo Executive Lounge” at RJ TV and net25, both free television in Ultra High Frequency (UHF).
