The Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) took the wraps off its newest D-Max Limited variant last week that is set to entice the market of what is yet to come to the popular diesel pickup that is now on its third generation.
A perfect combination of style and performance, the new D-Max Limited “Unleash Your Drive” as it breaks the barrier between work and play. It can easily be driven from the city to any weekend off-road adventure.
Only 200 units will be sold nationwide starting this week and is only available on the 3.0L 4×2 LS-A AT variant in Onyx Black color. It is competitively priced at P1.58-million.
“The new Isuzu D-Max Limited makes the already appealing D-Max pick-up even more attractive to those looking for added character on their vehicle. Designed with uniqueness and individuality in mind, this vehicle is fit for those with a deeper passion in life, especially the adventurous type,” said IPC president Tetsuya Fujita as he presented the pickup that is very popular among the Filipino families due to its durability, reliability and fuel efficiency since 2003.
Very noticeable to the new D-MAX Limited is its newly designed Blackout Grille with an eye-catching red Isuzu logo accentuating its front, with the same red accent carried over to its new front bumper guard giving the D-Max a more distinctive and macho appeal. On its side, the D-Max Limited supports a gray streak body graphics with red limited logo that extends all the way to its tailgate, giving it additional character while driving on the road.
Completing its aggressive exterior is this newly designed Sidestep Board, for non-slip easy ingress and egress of the driver and passengers. A new Limited Carpet, made with high quality material and providing a premium look and protection inside the cabin has also been added.
Running on the reliable 3.0L 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power engine, the new D-MAX Limited is capable to produce 190PS maximum power and 450 N-m maximum torque that’s enough for any adventure. The new variant now has 17” Satin Black Finish Alloy Wheels fitted with a 265/70 R17 All-Terrain tires that is coupled with a Monotube Nitrogen Charged Performance Shock Absorber with rigid rear shackles – increasing its ground clearance to 260mm, while still providing the vehicle stability, and control even when traversing challenging roads.
