That’s how most people have described model-actress Tina Monasterio when she ran anew and won hands down as Chairman of Barangay Duyan-Duyan in Project 3 in Quezon City in yesterday’s barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) polls.
In her Facebook wall, Tina, Maria Cristina Monasterio in real life, sounded off her gratitude to the residents of her barangay for believing in her leadership in the community.
“Maraming salamat po, Barangay Duyan-Duyan, sa tiwala (Many thanks for the trust),” said Tina, mom of GMA Network contract artist Derrick Monasterio.
The elder Monasterio was absent from the public service for years when she started focusing on the flourishing movie, TV and multimedia career of her son.
Although she was just in the background, her task as a personal manager of Derrick’s acting career was gargantuan.
It’s also “mother’s knows best” for the growth and development of the young Monasterio’s showbiz career aside from the gigantic professional support from GMA talent management and other vital forces in his honing.
Meanwhile, Tina’s comeback in the political arena is a sign of a giant step in her public trust savvy, maturity and creativity.
