Family love works for Zanjoe Marudo, Ria Atayde’s visit from the stork

Absence is one.

What could be another source of making the heart grows fonder?

What else, but fatherhood.

A visit from the stork guarantees excitement from keeping each one apart.

Yes, actor Zanjoe Marudo feels like his heartbeat goes haywire just thinking and wanting to see his newly born son, Baby M.

Wife-actress Ria Atayde gave birth to their first-born last September 23, 2024 and every moment thereafter, Zanjoe would want to cuddle or to just take a glimpse of their child in the nursery or in the crib at home.

Didn’t you know that it was Marudo who assembled the cradle?

Days before Ria was scheduled at the delivery room, Zanjoe bought a disassembled wooden crib, brought it home and put them together in an instance that amazed his pregnant wife.

A future fatherhood surely made the job easier for him.

Now, Z (as the actor gamely refers to his shortened pet name in social media) has all the time in the world to collect, to hold and  hug his baby or to play with him in the bed.

In his Facebook wall right after Baby M saw the light of day, Zanjoe captioned the video clip shot in the hospital as “Eto na (Here it is!) Zaddy na si Z (is alreay a father)” where he played on words by replacing letter Z to the remaining syllables of the word Daddy), thus, Zaddy

Joy for Marudo was indeed the coming of the baby boy to the family.

He is inspired to do a lot.

But not for now because he wants to spend more time with Baby M.

Work can wait.

Lucky are the Marudos and the Ataydes for their filial love from both sides, now being showered to the new-born.

Actress Sylvia Sanchez is proud of her status now.

“Lola na ako (I’m now a grandmother),” she exclaimed.

Albeit absence of the late Rosanna Acuesta Marudo–better known as Osang, the loving mom of Zanjoe–her other kids, like Zandro Marudo is very attentive and supportive of his younger brother.

If Osang were alive, she would also be the proudest grandma this side of show business.

In his socmed pages  Zandro has extended his congratulatory notes to Zanjoe and promised, in more ways than one, to assist him in every move including kitchen work.

Ngayong tatay ka na, tuturuan kitang magluto (Now that you’re already a dad, I will teach you how to cook),” he captioned the photo of Zanjoe chopping a menu ingredient on the table.

Meanwhile, in her social media posts, Ria shared her thoughts in Zanjoe’s “favorite role to date” which is obviously fatherhood in real life.
