Fashion guru and Impresario Nardie Presa Montoya’s “Fashion Forte XXIV” recently staged at Crowne Plaza in Ortigas Avenue was a perfect venue for shopping the latest bridal fashion designs.

Although there were only a few wedding gowns and suits and other matrimonial  garb pieces, the gig was enough display of sartorial art to choose and pattern bridal design from.

Incidentally, haute couture master Albert Figueras was one of the featured designers  in the catwalk with his new collection of clothesline as he brought in popular couples to the audience like husband and wife Manny and Malou Medida, former model and now fashion show director Wanda Louwallien and partner, GMA Network and GTV news reporter Mav Gonzales and Fil-Am businessman-boyfriend Matthew Valena, among others.

Figueras, who has been known to create memorable bridal wears, could very well deliver fashionable or customized wedding outfits anytime of the day.

His elegant and chic creations in the show were just samples of his creativity but could be singularly foundational for any occasions including matrimony.

It so happened that newly found couple Mav and Matthew were witnesses of Albert ingenuity that night.

Gonzales and Valena were invited by young fashion designer to the show by Erick Valena who happens to be Figueras’ best friend.

It was also during the ramp show that Mav and Matthew divulged that they are already engaged.

“We have just been engaged,” the couple announced.

It was also the time for them to scout or shop for potential wedding frock designs.

“We are really looking for a prospective designs for weddings,” said Mav.

At this early, Gonzales and Valena are already preparing for their big day.

“It will be next year,” the future bride joyfully declared.
