This recently came true to child star Franchesco Maafi who has been consistently doing a number of GMA Network’s television dramas.
When RC Gomez Entertainment Productions was in need of a good child star, Franchesco’s name came to producer Roy C. Gomez and director Lawrence Roxas’ minds so they didn’t think twice of looking for the ten-year-old boy.
Maafi was easily employed in the film “The Special Gift” as a special child who won in an art contest that totally changed his and other people’s lives around him.
As a child actor, Franchesco was Ronron, the son of Yasmien Kurdi in “Beautiful Justice,” Nonoy, the child of Jean Garcia in “Nakarehas na Puso” and young Enzon (Xian Lim) in Hearts on Ice.
According to Maafi, he was successful in playing those roles because “I just follow my heart.”
Franchesco’s dreams are to win awards and get more movie offers.
