Successful 1st Isuzu President’s Cup 

The first Isuzu President’s Cup, a fun golf tournament sponsored by the Isuzu Philippines Corporation, was a big success with the participation of all its invite guests last Oct. 2 at the Hallow Ridge Golf Course in San Pedro, Laguna.

IPC president Mikio Tsukui welcomed the participants during the breakfast jus before the tee-off ceremonies. “Thank you very much for your participation in this fun golf which we would like to promote as a way of our gratitude to our supporters. Welcome and I hope you have a good time at the course,” said Tsukui, who was assisted by IPC vice president Yasuhiko Oyama and sales department chief Bobet Carlos.

More than a hundred golfers from various Isuzu dealers, bank partners, motoring media, and friends showed up. 

Guio Diaz of Autubus Industries Inc. was adjudged the Best Gross while JJ Dinglasan also of Autubus Industries Inc. submitted the Best Net.

Class A :  Champion – Robbie Lee – Isuzu Zamboanga; 1st Runner-up – Carlo Inigo – Northern Cement Corporation; 2nd Runner-up – Jerryme Garcia – Centro Mfg. Corporation.

Class B :  Champion – Mike Bernas – Isuzu Phils. Corporation; 1st Runner-up – Naer Pizarro – Toyo Seat Mfg. Corp.; 2nd Runner-up – Johnny Fetalvero – YGC

Class C : Champion – Eric Alcones – Isuzu Phils. Corporation; 1st Runner-up Ace Calleja – Mannly Plastics Inc.; 2nd Runner-up – Ron Delos Reyes – Auto Review
