The recent showing of John Lloyd’s thespic talent was written once more in the history of international film art when he was proclaimed Best Actor at the 76th Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland during the weekend.
John Lloyd got his plum, the Boccalino d’Oro (Golde Jug Award) when he portrayed the role of Hermes Papauran in the film “The Essential Truths of the Lake” directed by international renowned auteur Lav Diaz.
Cruz personally received the Locarno trophy.
