The first Filipino-themed five-star hotel that will showcase the filipino culture will soon rise in Quezon City.
Gokongwei Group President and CEO Lance Gokongwei announced they will build the first Filipino-themed five-star hotel, Fili, at the Bridgetowne commercial complex in Quezon City.
Fili is the newest property under the Robinsons Hotels and Resorts portfolio, according to Gocongwei.
The construction is part of Robinsons’ P10-billion investment in the hospitality sector.
“As someone who has to travel a lot for work, I’ve always thought that a Filipino-themed and branded luxury hotel would stand out, showcasing our renowned hospitality, culture, and heritage to discerning visitors of our beautiful country,” Gokongwei said.
He added, “Congratulations to Robinsons Hotels and Resorts for making a substantial investment in our luxury hotel portfolio, supporting Philippine tourism with a truly Filipino offering”.
