‘FIESTA IN AMERICA 2024’ IN FULL SWING, SET ON AUGUST 17-18 IN NEW JERSEY, USA

‘Fiesta In America,’ the longest-running trade and multi-cultural event in the United States East Coast, has announced that Philippine business operators and LGU’s are welcome to join the special event if they want to take advantage of the many opportunities awaiting them in the wide American market.

Fernando Mendez, president and founder of Fiesta in America, says over 10,000 Filipino-Americans and around 50,000 additional mall visitors traditionally visit the biggest indoor trade and culture exposition mounted by a Filipino group yearly for the past 26 years.

As in the past couple of years, Fiesta In America 2024 will be held at American Dream, the second largest retail and entertainment center in the US, along East Rutherford, New Jersey on August 17 and 18.

“If you’re thinking of capitalizing on the growing Philippine market and the strong household income of Filipinos in the United States, this is the event to go to,” said Mendez.

Fiesta In America is supported by hundreds of brands from the Philippines, the US, and other countries, who are all eager to tap into the lucrative Filipino-American market in the New York-New Jersey area. Mendez believes among the Fiesta’s greatest achievements is its ability to put together people from all walks of life in celebrating our cultural heritage as well as forging economic ties. The Fiesta’s longevity speaks volumes about its sustainability and relevance to the Fil-American community in the United States and elsewhere.

“Stewarding Fiesta in America is my little way of promoting our culture, our products, our talent, and the beauty of the Philippines,” said Mendez.

“Our mission has always been to connect Filipino entrepreneurs with mainstream business and Fil-Am consumers through a festival that highlights immigrant-centered services, Filipino products, heritage, and talent,” he added.

Activities for all ages, trade exhibits, business opportunities, concerts, entertainment, and networking are among the biggest attractions at the Fiesta.

A week prior to its opening, on August 11, a People’s Ball will be mounted at Marriott Newark International Airport Hotel in New Jersey. Chaired by Mendez’s love partner, Laura Garcia, the highly anticipated annual event comes with a special buffet dinner, live performances, ballroom dancing, and Empowerment awards recognizing outstanding Filipino-Americans in the United States.

Traditionally, the gala is attended by influential leaders, movers, and shakers in the Fil-Am community in the US East Coast.
