Gateway introduces Ioniq 6 at Hyundai Pasong Tamo

Gateway Motors Group, a local automotive dealer group housing over 21 world-renowned brands, recently unwrapped the Hyundai Ioniq 6, the current World Car of the Year, at its spacious Hyundai Pasong Tamo showroom in Makati.

Michael Goho, vice president and chief operating officer of Gateway Motors Group, welcomed the guests from the different partner-banks, VIP clients, officers of the Hyundai Motors Philippines (led by Field Sales manager Stephanie Ann Valerio), and some members of the media.

“We are pleased to be the pioneer electric vehicle (EV) dealer group in the country. We foresee this to be an inevitable reality and that’s why we will introduce more exciting Hyundai products that are available in the market,” Goho said.

Goho said that Gateway Motors Group is very pleased with its partnership with the Hyundai Motors Philippines, Inc. and they have high respect to the team headed by its president Eric Lee and managing director Cecil Capacete.

“We hope to see a steady embrace for electric vehicles as we navigate more efficient efforts. We also anticipate a more robust growth for Hyundai and Gateway Motors Group as we move forward,” Goho added.

The new Hyundai Pasong Tamo was recently chosen by the HMPI as its exclusive EV dealer group that will sell the two world-class Hyundai electric cars currently in the local market today – the Ionic 5, which was adjudged the 2022 World Car of the Year, and the Ioniq 6. Aside from Hyundai, the Gateway Motors Group was also chosen as the EV dealer group for Kia, Jetour, and Nissan.

The standard range Hyundai Ioniq 5 is now selling for P3.098-million and its long range variant is going for P3.698-million while the new Hyundai Ioniq 6’s long range model is selling for P3.798-million.
