inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform, will become another ride-hailing services company in the country after it receive its official accreditation from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory LTFRB as a Transport Network Company (TNC).
For the initial phase, inDrive will activate its application in five cities—Bacolod, Baguio, Iloilo City, Cagayan de Oro, and Butuan – and is currently bolstering its supply with driver recruitment initiatives before officially launching and expanding its services in the Philippines.
Roman Ermoshin, director APAC at inDrive, said: “We are thrilled to receive official accreditation from the LTFRB, a testament to our unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, and innovation. As we embark on this exciting journey, we look forward to fulfilling the transportation needs of Filipinos, providing them with more choices, and contributing to the evolving landscape of urban mobility.”
inDrive has established a firm presence in the Southeast Asia region such as in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Globally, inDrive is present in over 700 cities and 45 countries. Unlike typical ride-hailing apps, inDrive offers users more choice and control over their experience. Passengers can select their preferred driver, and vice versa. Once a ride request is confirmed, passengers are presented with a list of available drivers, allowing them to choose based on preferences like driver rating, vehicle model, and estimated time of arrival.
