JAC Quezon Avenue previews JAC T9

JAC Philippines opened its fifth dealership in the country last week under the auspices of Astara along the emerging automotive row in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. It is located at 847 Heroes Hill and boasts of a wide frontage capable of displaying JAC’s newest lineup of passenger vehicles.

The flagship showroom, which has been the official distributor of various JAC commercial vehicles, had a grand inauguration and several top JAC International and JAC Philippines officials were on hand to witness the event.

Henry Xia, the managing director for Asia Pacific of JAC International handling the Australia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, and now the Philippines’ market, was very excited in introducing the brand the originated in Heife, China more than six decades ago. It is now one of the top vehicle producers in China and has evolved from making trucks and commercial vehicles to technologically-advanced passenger cars.

“Our journey with JAC in the Philippines began with trucks, and today, we are proud to bring the brand’s full passenger vehicle line-up to Filipino consumers. JAC is more than just an automotive brand—it’s a pledge to provide versatile, high-quality vehicles that cater to a variety of lifestyles and needs. Our goal is to make JAC a trusted companion in the everyday journeys of Filipino drivers,” said Xia, who rose from the ranks while serving the company for more than 20 years now.

JAC Philippines’ Brand Head Tonette Lee and Astara’s Dong Magsajo were also present together with the JAC Quezon Avenue officers led by its president Rosita Sy, vice president Jamie Ong, and director for marketing William Uy, among others.

Aside from the new JAC passenger vehicle models such as the all-electric Ytterby, JAC JS2 Pro, JS4, JS6, and JAC JS8, Xia also presented the all-new JAC T9 and JAC T8 pickup trucks that are expected to rock the truck segment of the local automotive industry.

These high performance 4×2, diesel pickup trucks will be available in all five JAC dealerships in the country (aside from Quezon Avenue, the four others include Manila Bay, Pasig, Alabang, and Iloilo) and will be priced very competitively as promised by Henry Xia.
