The other reel loveteam to catch once more the public’s interest is KathDen.
Even before the KathNiel fallout, the screen team-up of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards was a big hit via the movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye” which has remained one of the largest box-office earners in the history of Philippine cinema.
For the second time, KathDen has shown its powerful attraction when their film “Hello, Love, Again” has maintained its consistent box-office appeal until today.
In its first day alone, according to the press release of both Star Cinema and GMA Films, the co-producers of the project, it earned a whopping P131M gross and still earns the same figures on a single-day showing.
Considering a week-long screening of the movie nationwide, it must take home P700M+ in the Philippines.
What about its box-office results in the United States of America and Canada?
According to Kristofer Purnell of GMA Network news online, the film grossed “the highest for a Filipino film in North America with $2.4 million” which is equivalent to P141M.
“No words can express how grateful we are for the turnout and we’re very happy na maraming naka-appreciate nito (many appreciate the movie),” said Alden in a statement.
“We’re so blessed because binigyan ng mga tao ng chance yung pelikula namin at lahat ng nare-receive namin. Wala na kaming mahihiling pa (that the moviegoers gave our movie a chance and all what we receive. We cannot ask for more),” Kathryn beamed Kathryn with pride a press release. (Boy Villasanta)
