With the growing numbers of clients that needed basic services on body repair and paints for their cars, Gateway made it simple to attend to their clients’ needs as it come up with a huge one-stop shop facility recently.
The place is right inside their Nissan Gateway Otis along Paz Guazon in UN Avenue in Pandacan, Manila, a 2,608 square-meter facility complete with all the necessary equipment and materials together with professional tinsmiths and car painters.
“We have already inaugurated the venue recently of our biggest body repair and paints shop for all our growing customers among all our car brands under the Gateway Group of Companies here in the national capital region. You are all welcome to see the latest equipment and materials being used in body repair and paints for all vehicles here,” said Markane Goho, chairman of Gateway which is the biggest auto dealership network in the country today.
Markane added that the needs of their growing customers for such a facility in the NCR have been answered. “This will also free all of our Gateway car dealerships – from Honda, Hyundai, Jetour, Kia, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Fuso, to Geely — in the metro of the needed space for the growing periodic maintenance services being done every day,” he said.
Jam Dizon, the designated Head of the Otis BRP facility, described the Gateway’s one-stop-shop as the same to the original “casa” treatment one can get from their Gateway brand dealerships. “The only difference is that we gathered all our professional tinsmiths and car painters in one facility to attend to the BRP needs of all our clients.”
The Otis facility has two paint booths, a body aligner, and an infrared and can accommodate maximum of 35 SUV units or a maximum of 40 sedans at a given time. Aside from these state-of-the-art equipment and materials, all the technicians are equipped with certification on the knowledge of materials and experience such as tinsmith, painting, and installation of parts, washover or full body painting, and windshield or glass replacement.
All vehicles that were purchased from the Gateway dealerships will be accepted with endorsements from their respective mother or brand dealership. “The original Gateway dealership orders the original parts directly from the respective manufacturers and sends them to our Otis facility once their client is done with the scheduling.”
If all the parts are on hand, the average turnaround time for a vehicle service is 2-3 days for light repairs, 4-5 days for medium repairs, and 7 days or more if it’s heavy repair, according to Dizon. The Otis facility can be contacted through her phone at 0926-8792634.
The new Nissan Otis BRP facility aims to meet the demands of a centralized Body Repair and Paint center for the Gateway Group. “We have two paint booths, a body aligner, and infrared curing lights and use the same adhesives, solvents, thinners, primers, body fillers, base coat, and clear coat just like in the respective Gateway brand dealership shops in the past. Our BRP technicians also have certifications, experience, and knowledge of equipment and materials,” Dizon added.
Yes, walk-ins are also accepted but they need to undergo scheduling “so we can prioritize the immediate repair.”
