PHLPost Keeps the Nation Connected Amid Heavy Rains and Flooding

Rain or shine, the postal service remains committed to connecting Filipinos and delivering public service where it matters most.

Despite heavy rains, rising floodwaters, and difficult weather conditions in several parts of the country, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) continues to provide essential postal and communication services to the public.

Postal frontliners remain on duty, delivering mails, parcels, government communications, Postal ID and other important documents while observing necessary safety measures. Equipped with raincoats, boots, umbrellas, and a strong commitment to public service, they continue to help keep communities connected despite the challenging conditions.

“Rain may fall and floodwaters may rise, but the need to communicate does not stop. PHLPost remains committed to delivering essential postal services while ensuring the safety of our personnel and the public,” PHLPost said.

As of August 19, 2026, post offices in the National Capital Region (NCR), Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro remain open and operational.

However, temporary service adjustments may be implemented in areas affected by flooding, impassable roads, transportation disruptions, or other hazardous monitor local conditions and coordinate with field offices to maintain service continuity whenever it is safe to do so.

PHLPost assures the public that the delivery of important mails and parcels remains a priority, while the safety and well-being of postal workers and customers come first.
