People are bound to be surprised when they watch the now-showing Puregold mini-series, ‘Si Sol at Si Luna.’
It’s not so much the story, about a younger boy falling in love with an older girl. It’s the lead actor, former child star Zaijian Jaranilla, who sheds his Santino image completely in this coming-of-age story.
What’s more, Zaijian gets to pull off his first bold scene here as he engages leading lady, Jane Oineza in a torrid, hot kissing scene.
During the series’ media event held May 16 at World Trade Center in Pasay City, Zaijian, now 22, confessed he’s knowledgeable in kissing. He admitted he has fallen in love in real life, so there.
For her part, Jane said she enjoyed working with Zaijian, with whom she’s working for the first time. She confirmed Zaijian’s kissing prowess.
“At its core, the series is about love—but not the kind that comes easy,” says Puregold Senior Marketing Manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad.
‘Si Sol at si Luna’ dropped its very first episode on the Puregold Channel on YouTube on May 31, with a new episode set to be released every Saturday thereafter.
