SHARON: I MARRIED A GOOD MAN

PASSERBY By Nestor Cuartero

Sharon Cuneta couldn’t help but turn emotional as she issued an appeal to Filipinos to vote for her husband, former Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan.

She said, “Maayos na ang buhay namin. Kung tutuusin, wala na sanang pulitika. Yet, our family is offering Kiko to once more serve the country. He’s more than qualified for the job, but why do they shoot the good guys when all they want is to serve and help uplift the lives of our countrymen?”

The veteran actor lamented the way social media trolls have spread lies upon lies against her husband.

“I married a good man. Our family is willing to share him once again with the Filipino people,” she said.

During a media merienda hosted by Regal Entertainment head Roselle Monteverde May 5, the former senator expressed confidence in last- minute voters who can

bring him back to the Senate on May 12.

He said he remains optimistic that voters will appreciate his track record, one without corruption scandal and the like.

He also thanked his supporters, many of them well known figures in show business and government, who go out of their way to campaign for him.

Food security and good governance top Kiko Pangilinan’s advocacies.
