Gateway Mitsubishi opens in Davao

The newest and one of the biggest auto dealership in Davao today was inaugurated recently under the flagship of the Gateway Group of the Goho Family along the popular automotive row in Matina.

And it is the latest Mitsubishi dealership which is having a change of leadership within this week after the incoming president Ritsu Imaeda was formally introduced in a grand party recently in Manila. He will replace the outgoing president Takeshi Hara on May 1. Both of them, together with the other Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation officials were present during the Matina showroom inauguration.

Gateway Group chairman Markane Goho, president Raymund Basubas,  and executive vice president Michael Goho led the company officials in welcoming the guests during the occasion. Others include Estrella Goho, Atty. Cesar Buan, Buddy Arancon, Rommel Samadan, Gerry Hernandez, Alvin Lu, Lee Junia, and Brian Remonde.

The 5,000 square meter dealership is an imposing Mitsubishi dealership that is now the seventh for the Goho Family’s Gateway Group and the first 3S dealer outlet in Davao, directly across the ongoing Davao Global Township project which is Davao City future business district. This 69th 3S MMPC dealership is situated at Km. 3 Gen. Douglas McArthus Highway and has a very wide façade with available 14 parking spaces. The vast service area inside can service 20 vehicles simultaneously.

“Our relationship with Mitsubishi goes back only a few years during the pandemic and yet we achieved record breaking feats and numbers. It has been surreal. This year, our company celebrates 20 years in the industry. There is more room for progress and may we continue to flourish and maximize all opportunities. Mitsubishi will continue to soar!” said Gateway’s Michael Goho.

Other Mitsubishi officials during the event were: outgoing EVP for sales and marketing Takanobu Suzuki; incoming EVP for sales and marketing Toshiaki Kato; EVP for aftersales Junichi Kinashi; Relly de Jesus; Louie Zuniga; Rommel Abad; Renz Cucio; Jeanne de Belen; and Marlon Lim.
